After slogging through target last weekend on X-mas duties I took a break and went down to a local B&M to find out they had a new tatuaje blended just for them. It’s called the SODO, for the neighborhood the shop is in. Truly a festivas miracle.

Quite a few years ago my wife incisted on a REAL Christmas Tree…and incisted on getting it as soon as they became available…I tried to fight it saying it would dry out, but I lost that argument. Fast forward a few weeks and there I was, 3 days before Christmas, lugging out this dead-ass Christmas Tree to the dumpster, nothing left but a trunk and branches (no needles left) and some tinsel still clinging on for dear life, right past our neighbors HUGE Christmas Party out on their patio! All Music and Conversation stopped as everyone’s eyes turned to me struggling with this damn dead tree…All I could think to mutter was “Bah HumBug!” True Story – Christmas 1997

Great contest. Here’s my Christmas story: I was 8 years old and my older brother was 11. It was Christmas morning and we were opening our gifts from under the tree. I see one large present with my name on it and start unwrapping it. To my surprise I unwrap a SUPER NINTENDO SYSTEM, complete with games. I was so shocked but exteremly happy. I look at my older brother and he is in total disbelief. Thats when it happened. My dad says, “I put the wrong tag on the box, thats actually your brothers”. Talk about utter disappointment. Of course my older brother being an older brother, played the games all day and made me watch promising me that I would get my chance. Heart broken I tell ya. I got past it and now he, myself and my dad share a cigar every Christmas. Everythings fine unless someone mentions Super Mario Brothers.

What a to die-for cutter! Beautiful. Obviously, that would be my primary Christmas wish, but some cigars would be nice from Santa. Assuming he reads this blog, I’ll take anything from Perdomo, CAO La Traviata Maduro or LADC Mi Amor.

TriMarkC, I got that same situation when I was a kid. Was absolutely baffled! lol. Later I realized that my parents “forgot” something as we were pulling out of the driveway and ran inside for a few minutes. amazing how gullible kids are! hahaha

What a great looking cutter, thanks for offering it in this .contest..

When I was four years old, my parent’s were going to take me to see Santa at the mall on Christmas Eve. They told me to go get my coat – I got so excited that I charge straight into a table, cutting open my eyebrow. I got to spend that Christmas Eve in the E.R., getting my face stitched up. I don’t remember much from Christmas’s of my past, but I definitiely remember that…I still have the scar.

Greta contest! Been hitting your site more and more often and the content and comments increase!

As for my Christmas story, we would always go to my dad’s parent’s house for Christmas Eve every year. I was always a lot of fun seeing all my cousins, aunts, uncles and of course my grandparents. But, being little, we would always leave early (8pm-ish) so we could be in bed early enough so Santa wouldn’t miss us. Well, when I was about 10yrs old, I remember we ended up leaving much later than normal – I think it was after 10pm when we left, and we still had a 1hr drive!
My sisters and I were frantic that Santa would miss us, and my parents went with the whole thing.
Well, of course, when we got home, Santa had “beaten us there”, and all the stockings and gifts were out. [Imagine trying to go to sleep THEN, knowing all the cool stuff was ALREADY downstairs!!]

Anyway, you can likely imagine how all that happened, and we’ve since made that story a reality for our own kids once or twice, too.

I guess I’ll go with my Santa wish list… I just donated a bunch of cigars to a fellow BOTL to be sent out to our troops. A couple of days later I got a message from a friend who was deployed to Afghanistan and wants me to send him some cigars and a cutter or two. I can send him a few more cigars from my stash and a cutter, but its gonna empty my humidor… well, almost. So I’m gonna ask Santa for more cigars and a new cutter, since I’ll be giving mine away. Its a cheapie, but I think it cuts well. It would be nice to win that unique cutter up for grabs, though!

Some funny stories here and tons of kinds words! Glad to see we’re doing something right! Well, at least I am, not sure about that slacker Tony…

My funny Christmas story? Probably happened this year. My dad was putting up the tree and we were in the kitchen having some coffee. All of a sudden we heard a thud so we all went running. We find my dad on the floor with the Christmas tree lying on top of him. We all had a good laugh about it and we won’t let him live it down now! lol

My wishlist, a nice DSLR camera and a winning lottery ticket! hahaha
