Very nice! you are the champion today! I had actually purchased a few of these at the main Spec’s location, but they hadn’t restocked them in such a long time that I just assumed they stopped carrying them. It never dawned on me to check the smaller location. Thanks for the heads up!

Interesting enough I had quite a few of these. I had some that did not have the “maduro” band on them. I know they added those later since the color of the wrapper can be similar to the standard Oval. The older ones I smoked didn’t produce nearly the same amount of flavor as the newer ones I picked up. The newer ones I have smoked have been from a few different boxes so I know I didn’t just get lucky. Maybe there was a tweak in the blend, maybe I just got duds from the beginning, or maybe they just don’t age well. Whatever it is, I haven’t ran into this since I smoked the first two long, long ago.
