I thought I was doing very well to score a box of maduro toros on auction for around $43-46 or so. I was suitably impressed by the quality for the $. No, it’s not going to be mistaken for a PAM or a WOAM, but I can’t recall enjoying a maduro stick that inexpensive for quite a long time. On a whim, I lowballed another box of the toros, and on St. Patty’s day this year, scored a box on auction for $28. That is not a typo. $28 for a box of 20 good everyday maduros. I actually felt a little sheepish over that score.

In reply to jjo. I've only tried the Sun Grown and Connecticut. I found the blend of fillers to fit better with the Sun Grown. I'm actually smoking the Connie right now as I write this! lol

Great write up Dan the Pictures are great as well. I’m a big Perdomo fan you can’t beat it for price and quality I think its one of the best in the business. Hope you get some warmer weather love the Pine Tree shots.

I have smoked one of these… Great budget smoke. I can not remember which wrapper it was, but for the bucks it is a stand up stick for golf, yardwork, partying, when you don’t have time to really sit back and focus… Maybe shovelling snow DT…..

Great review as usual. It’s always nice to see a review of a decent cigar that’s friendly to the wallet. Hats off to Perdomo for their commitment to keeping their prices reasonable. Have you tried any of the other wrappers in this line?

I’m looking forward to next week. It’s gonna be fun!
