Hey, Harry! Thanks for your comment and sorry for my slow reply. It has been a crazy busy summer. That is interesting to learn that there was another REO line back in the 1970s. But it is not unheard of to bring back old brands. Now on to your question. There a several good mild cigars I would highly recommend that are on the smaller ring gauge size: EP Carrillo New Wave Connecticut Stella (Corona), Punch London Club, Four Kicks Corona, and Illusione Rothchildes Connecticut. Hi, in the 70’s I used to smoke REO’s , but they were small, about 8cm.long & 1cm. square in section, unusual ! but a very nice mild cigar.
They obviously no longer exist, but as an afficionado of Cigars, can you recommend something similar. I do not inhale the smoke as I used to 40 years ago when I stopped smoking altogether, I am now 74 but enjoy a small cigar now & again after a nice meal& a glass or two of wine.

I’m down the final puffs of an REO robusto and while I lack the palate to distinguish the flavors the reviewer describes, I can say that I have really enjoyed this cigar. Easy draw and loads of smoke. A couple of construction flaws were noted-a small hole in the wrapper near the cap and a hole in the filler that caused an uneven burn- but the burn corrected itself without touch up.

Hey, Jeff! The size rocked, but I could’ve enjoyed this blend for an additional 30 minutes or so and been happy. I may pick up a large size next time to see how it compares to the Corona. The core flavors of earth and coffee hold throughout with the richness and sweetness developing in each third. A profile that just works well for me.

In reply to irratebass. I am a fanboy of Eddie's cigars as well. I had the opportunity to hangout with him at Foxtoberfest in 2012 and 2013 and he is an all around good guy. This is probably one of the best finds this year for the price. Thanks for checking out the review.
