La Duena is a thoughtfully designed and built cigar. The flavors are wonderful and I believe it was designed as a paradigm for for which other cigar designers and constructors should strive for. What a great smoke .

Finally got to try a #7 tonight, and it was every bit as good as advertised! I had it with some Taylor Fladgate First Estate Reserve Porto, and it was a great combo.

the pairing with the palo santo marron was just awesome! Appearently, the brew changes each year? I've had the last few years but I didn't see much change. Maybe it's just aging potential.

MMMmm barley wine. Port would go perfect! If I was in your shoes, I'd hit La Duena before the La Casita. I think it's a better blend. A bit fuller, but nothing that will knock you out.

Was gifted a few of these from a friend and just smoked one yesterday. Went great with a cup of coffee. But what cigar doesn't?? Had tons and tons of flavor with impeccable construction. I'm going to have to pick up a bottle of palo santo marron to try this combo. It's a great beer and I haven't had one in a while. Thanks for the review Tony!

Damn, I haven't even gotten around to the "little Creole house" yet, and you have to throw this teaser our way? ;) Thanks for the review, man. Sounds too good to pass up. I'm assuming it will also go well with a barley wine or tawny port?

Hope you had a great Turkey Day!
