If someone stumbles across this thread again, note that with a couple of years humi time, these turn into a very fine smoke. So if you haven’t staved off moochers or shredded them for garden mulch, dig through your old cooler-dor and give it one more shot

I made purchase of two five packs in two different sizes with one size being the same as your reviewed. I found them to be harsh and without much flavor but the wood you mentioned in your review. I had saved just one to see if aging would help and it made a world of difference. I had much more depth and with flavors of chocolate and a an earthy tobacco flavor. But that was with a year of age on it.

Never had the oscure, but didn’t mind the regualr line. For a super budget stick the regular line is a decent smoke. Not as goos as the Sherpa, but good none the less. We are talking about yard gars…. You photos have gotten better. Good review D!

In reply to Dalamscius. I don't recall it as being bad, just not very memorable. If you go to the Cigar.com forums, you'll find a lot of people tripping over themselves to praise it (and just about everything that AJ has ever made).;) Curious, since the Diesel Unholy Cocktail can be had for about the same price. Jerry at Stogie Review wasn't exactly bowled over by it either.

So maybe mine wasn’t a dud afterall if you had a similarly bad experience. I wonder what other people think?
That beer is fantastic, I haven’t been able to find it recently unless I go all the way downtown to the brewery. I may need to make that trip soon specifically for that beer.

Wow, Daniel’s working overtime this weeK. 🙂 Your photography really has improved, not that it wasn’t good to begin with. I do like the exploded ash pics, though. I had a couple of these from a sampler several months ago, and since I haven’t gotten any more, i guess that would show how I feel about these. Okay, but not anything special.

I wouldn’t mind having that beer, though.
