I’ve been wanting to try this to see if it’s a cheaper alternative to the Cein Anos (which is a little too expensive and getting harder to find).

Initially, my experience with the 107 was blah. A little pasty and dry with no real flavors except for wood. However, about 15 minutes later, it really started to show its potential. Although the draw was somewhat tight, many of the same flavor profiles Tony experienced were coming through. I remember mentioning to one of the Casa staffers that this cigar needs some aging and I imagine with some lay down time, its going to be a terrific smoke.

Important note. Tony is dead spot on about smoking this cigar in a slow and non-distracted environment. This cigar should be enjoyed when you have the time, not when you just want to smoke it. Its tasty, but without the focus on its qualities, you will miss some of its subtleties.

Casa was very busy, and they also had PMOY 2003 Christina Santiago there so you can imagine not paying attention to the cigar. At this price point, I bought a box to store for the next 6 months+ and will enjoy the free robustos, one week at a time for the next three weeks.

I have felt the exact same way, which why this cigar caught me off guard. It’s really a great stick, and I strongly recommend picking a few up.
