Maybe the stick was a bit too dry? or maybe it was just a dud. I haven’t been disappointed by one of these yet.

I had my first one of these a week ago (also a robusto) and was very disappointed — it had a dry, natural tobacco flavor and not much else. I guess it was a due or my palate was dead. I have a couple more, so we’ll see.
