Thanks for another great review. I’ve smoked a few Filthy Hooligans, including one this St. Patrick’s Day. I’ll make sure I have an Illusione Candela available next St. Patrick’s Day.

I have not smoked a Candela in well over 30 years, and even then it was a crappy drugstore AyC Grenadier. Maybe it was just green paper, lol. I’ll have to try out the Illusione and/or LFD sometime. Was the Rocky Edge a one off?

I’ll get some Washington cider to you sometime, but in the meantime, I hear that Crispin’s The Saint is pretty good. Made with Belgian Trappist yeasts. I need to try it out myself.

In reply to czerbe. I think the 88/888 and the Rocky Patel Edge Candela are the best Candela wrapped cigars that I have had. Heck they are just good cigars in general. I have also had quite a few of really bad ones. The Hooligan didn't really fit in either of those categories.

I picked one of these up yesterday and I haven’t smoked it yet. Last year I smoked one and was less then impressed, I also smoked the LFD Candela and the 888 by Dion… the 888 was the tits best candela I have ever smoked… I love the Black Market cigars I think I will stick to their core line.
